| | The Uptown Singles Minyan is the first Minyan of its kind geared solely to single Jewish men and women in their 30’s, 40’s and 50's
This Minyan will run on Shabbat Mevorchim, (the Shabbat in which we announce the New Month) with a special Kiddush and thought provoking class. Our first gathering will take place Saturday (Shabbat) March 1st 2008. 949 Clark Avenue West, on the Second Floor, in the Moriah Room, at 9:00 A.M.
Come out daven then mix mingle and meet other Jewish Single Men and Women.

The Uptown Singles Minyan is geared to singles: 30’s, 40's and 50's. This this Minyan can be described as participatory. “Cozy" or "haimish" is most accurate. Our services are organized and conducted entirely by Minyan members.
Attendees are encouraged to participate in whatever way they can, from leading prayers to helping with kiddush.
Informal groups led by knowledgeable members help people learn and improve their skills. Whether you want to learn something new or try something old, this is a place to do it.
The Uptown Singles Minyan starts at 9:00 A.M. with classes and Kiddush following services.
This Minyan is an enthusiastic affiliate of Aish Hatorah, The Thornhill Community Shul and Toronto Jewish Singles.

About Steven
A native of Long Beach, California, Steven Alevy lives today on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He credits his parents Allen and Deanna, with instilling his deep Ahavath Israel and responsibility to his fellow man. Steven and & his family founded the Alevy Foundation in CA. They are involved in helping support a number of organizations that contribute to the building and strengthening of the Jewish community.
Steven believes strongly in the Jewish Matchmaking concept and realizes that a matchmaker can not only introduce Jewish singles to each other but also help during the dating process.
