I am in constant contact with FJL (a group that get's a very nice crowd of both Observant and non-observant people) the ratio is probably very close to 50:50. I was at another one of their events less than 2 months ago - to personally check out the crowd :) Trust me, it's a nice crowd!
There will be two parts to the Shabbaton;
The Shabbat itself
The Saturday night event - "keeping it kosher"
We are hoping for the Shabbat portion to be in Miami beach (at the moment it's in North Miami) either way the following is included - an update will be posted on the FB Group as soon as I have it!
Home hospitality: (Sleeping in someone's house Friday & Saturday evenings)
Meals: Friday night, Saturday day and afternoon are included!
Saturday evening gathering - "keeping it kosher" is included in the price - but not the meal
Note: there are usually a 100+ people at the Friday night meal
The Saturday night gathering gets some of the same as well as new people - also over a 100 people attend
***** NOTE anything and everything else is up to you ie: Friday breakfast and lunch - Saturday night meal (we usually buy our own food at the event) & Sunday meals are not included. Transportation, airfare etc. are not included. I would be happy to send out an email to those that signed up, so you can possibly carpool etc. Also, if anyone is coming down earlier, I will provide you with a list or place where some of us may be gathering - otherwise you're on your own (but don't worry, it's MIAMI!!! :)

| | The Smilow & Epstein Families have been hosting Pesach programs for over 15 years and bring with them thousands of extremely satisfied customers. This year, Tzvi Gross, of Star Singles, will be hosting a wonderful program for singles, at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, in Parsippany, NJ. With separate dining options, as well as separate rooms for private sedarim, everyone will enjoy a beautiful Yom Tov!
There will be programs for Ruchnius and Gashmius, entertainment for the heart and soul, concerts with Shloime Gertner from London, Shiurim (fully stocked Bais Medrash) presentations by Rabbi Avrohom Chaim Feuer, Rabbi Yaakov Feitman & Rabbi Daniel Mechanic. Additionally, I will offer separate programs that cater to the needs of our singles. There will be a full day camp, led by Mosey & Shira Kaplan of Lakewood. Infant day care and baby-sitting available. For married and singles, adults and kids, we are planning it all.
The entire hotel, which will be Kosher for Pesach, is under the strictest Kashrus guidelines. We serve only Cholov Yisroel, Shmura Matzo, and Non-Gebrokts.
We have put together a package with today's economic crisis in mind, and are offering a room rate of the extremely affordable $1,699 per person, double occupancy, plus tax and tips.

About Steven
A native of Long Beach, California, Steven Alevy lives today on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He credits his parents Allen and Deanna, with instilling his deep Ahavath Israel and responsibility to his fellow man.
Steven and & his family founded the Alevy Foundation in CA. They are involved in helping support a number of organizations that contribute to the building and strengthening of the Jewish community.
