Matchmaker Initiative
Seven distinguished Synagogues of Manhattan’s
Upper East and
Upper West Side
(Kehilath Jeshurun, Lincoln Square Synagogue,
5th
Avenue
Synagogue, Ohab Zedek, Ohav Shalom, The Jewish Center, and the Young Israel of The
West Side) have partnered with SawYouAtSinai to hire Rifki Eichorn, a full time
paid Matchmaker to help singles in these communities find their match.
They recognize the critical importance of hiring a full time, deeply committed
individual who will be dedicated to meeting face-to-face with the
Manhattan
singles, searching for potential matches and supporting them through the dating
process. SYAS was asked to join this
initiative as the Synagogues believe that the SYAS system is the most effective
way for this matchmaker to achieve success with this important endeavor.

Jewish singles can use a shadchan, a Jewish matchmaker, to send them shidduchim
(matches) so they can find their bashert. Our matchmakers have made successful matches
